Baby Track Pro ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Baby Track Pro mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide
When you use the Services, you may choose to enter or log information about your baby or toddler and their activities, including but not limited to feeding (breast, bottle, solids), sleep, diaper changes, medicine logs, reading, tummy time, bath, spit-up, growth data, and other caregiver-entered activities.
This information is:
- Stored locally on your device, and
- If you enable cloud or sync features, securely stored on our servers or those of trusted service providers solely for backup and synchronization purposes
b. Account Information
If you create an account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Name (if provided)
- Authentication credentials (stored in encrypted or hashed form)
c. Device and Usage Information
We may collect limited technical and usage information, such as:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- General feature usage and interaction data
Usage and analytics data is collected in aggregated or de-identified form where reasonably possible and is used only to improve app functionality, performance, and reliability. We do not sell this data.
d. Private Information Stored Locally
When you use the Services, the following types of information may be collected and stored locally on your device (and, if you enable cloud or sync features, also for backup and synchronization):
- Baby-related: Baby name, birth date, photos
- Parent/caregiver: Parent name, email
- Activity data: Feeding, diaper, sleep, and other logged activities
- Health-related data: Voluntary, non-medicine entries such as growth data (for your records only; not medical advice)
You control what you enter. Local storage keeps this data on your device unless you use optional sync or backup features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services (e.g., syncing, backups, performance)
- Generate informational summaries or insights based on data you log (for personal reference only; not medical advice)
- Respond to support requests, questions, or feedback
- Send important service-related notices (e.g., security or policy updates)
- Comply with applicable laws and protect our legal rights and safety
3. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information.
Data may be stored:
- Locally on your device
- On secure cloud infrastructure operated by us or trusted service providers when sync features are enabled
No system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for securing access to your device.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information or your child's activity data.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent, such as when you choose to share access with another caregiver
- With service providers who assist us in operating the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics), under contractual confidentiality and data-processing obligations
- For legal reasons, such as to comply with law, regulation, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or others
5. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for use by parents or caregivers to log information about their babies or toddlers.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. Any data entered about a child is provided by an adult caregiver and is treated as sensitive in accordance with this Policy.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You may:
- Access, update, or delete much of your information within the app
- Delete your account using in-app options or by contacting us
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When an account is deleted, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, subject to legal requirements.
6A. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights
